1. What Anvil is
Anvil is a software tool that scans markets using rule-based heuristics and can submit orders to a brokerage account that you own and control. It is not a broker, not a fund, not a portfolio manager and not an adviser. It never holds your money.
2. No investment advice
Nothing produced by the app — signals, scores, simulations, projections or commentary — is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to trade. Every decision to trade, and every configuration of risk, autonomy and auto-placement, is yours alone.
3. Your account and credentials
You are responsible for the accuracy of the broker credentials you supply, for keeping your device secure, and for ensuring your broker permits API trading on your account. You must not use another person's credentials or operate an account on someone else's behalf through this app.
4. Automated trading
If you enable auto-trade, orders may be submitted without further review. You accept full responsibility for those orders. Safeguards — mandatory stop-loss and take-profit, margin limits, position caps, re-entry cooldown and the kill switch — reduce but do not eliminate risk, and may fail due to connectivity, broker outages, gapping or rejected orders.
5. Simulations and projections
Backtests, equity curves, expectancy figures and time-to-target estimates are modelled outputs based on assumptions. They are not predictions and not a promise of any return. Past performance, simulated or live, does not indicate future results.
6. Availability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". Market data, prices and account figures come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Scans, notifications and order submission may be interrupted at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app operator is not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Eligibility and jurisdiction
You must be 18 or over and legally permitted to trade leveraged products in your jurisdiction. Leveraged products are restricted or prohibited in some countries. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Changes and termination
These terms may change as the app develops; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the app at any time by disconnecting your broker and deleting your saved credentials in Settings.
